They have a history of delivering complex structural packages, drainage, and earthworks for Upper-Tier Construction Firms, Government Authorities, and Private Infrastructure Developers.
The Role
Based primarily in the Southern Suburbs of Melbourne, the Project Manager will oversee the delivery of multiple civil and structural packages across the Melbourne metropolitan area. This position requires a strong focus on the commercial viability of projects, value engineering, and the technical management of civil and FRP work scopes.
Lead the end-to-end execution of Civil and FRP packages, ensuring adherence to project timelines and technical specifications.
Manage the project financial performance, including budget management, variations, and monthly reporting.
Evaluate construction methodologies and designs to value engineer cost-saving opportunities and process efficiencies.
Guide junior staff and site crews on civil drainage, bulk earthworks, and formwork construction.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project integration.
Significant experience as a Project Manager within the Victorian civil construction industry.
Comprehensive knowledge of civil drainage, earthworks, and formwork systems.
Demonstrated ability to manage project margins and navigate complex commercial contracts.
Strong professional communication skills with the ability to manage diverse project teams and client expectations.
A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is essential.
